According to him, the company will begin this year the process of migration of 1.2 million customers of voice services in copper networks to other technologies. “These are accesses that we will have to give alternative (to the customer), which can be the fiber in various locations,” said the president of Vivo.

“Once we migrate customers we will have the extraction and sale of thousands of tons of copper,” said Gebara, citing that migration will allow the company’s size to reduce the size of company telephone centers, which should generate benefits that include reduction or cancellation of spaces for the spaces for the facilities.
