Where will F1 season 2025 transmit?

Despite the imbroglio involving transmission rights, the F1 will pass on Band and Bandsports, as well as in recent years.

According to columnist Daniel Castro, the Band could stop transmitting Formula 1 at the end of the 2024 season. Internally, the station was certain that the Italy GP would be the last race transmitted by the channel. The main reason would be financial issues. Other points pointed out by different sources, such as the website “F1 Mania”, would be criticism with the transmission team and the low audience.

However, Band released a statement in October confirming that it will continue to broadcast Formula 1 races until at least season 2025.

– After conversations with Liberty Media, holding the rights of the world, there was no consensus on the cancellation and the broadcaster chose to comply with the contract – said the statement.

The “F5” portal had already reported that the channel did not approve the payment terms required by the company for termination, which would extend throughout the next year. If the intention was to follow the terms proposed by Liberty, Band considered it more advantageous to keep the races transmitted.

If Band and Liberty Media rescinded the contract, Globo was the favorite to transmit F1 again after four years of hiatus. The station even made a teaser at a 2025 product presentation event to the advertising market, displaying a F-1 car on the big screen, accompanied by a question: “Is it?”.
