You will strengthen tomato seedlings. Just a few leaves to bend with fruit in the season

Spring is fast approaching. Soon we will start putting plants from pots into the ground. Among them are also popular tomatoes, which can not be missing in the home garden. Take care of abundant crops now, supplying seedlings with natural fertilizer from … bay leaves.

Power fertilizers containing minerals, i.e. phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen, iron, magnesium, boron and copper. The first two elements have a natural nutrient made of bay leaves, ideal for fertilization before planting.

Potassium and phosphorus are very important with the growth of these plants. This first mineral allows tomatoes to better absorb nutrientsand also strengthens their resistance to diseases.

In turn, phosphorus makes seedlings produce strong roots. Thanks to this, plants root better, which provides them with a strong basis for further growth.

Together, these two elements create ideal conditions for the development of healthy tomatoes. Only such specimens can spend numerous and abundant crops.

To make a natural fertilizer for tomato cuttings, we only need 3 bay leaves and 0.5 liters of water. How to prepare a conditioner for these plants?

Just pour water into the pot, add bay leaves and cook the whole for 15 minutes on low heat. Water the tomatoes with a decoction when it cools down completely.

As mentioned, we use this conditioner just before planting specimens to the ground to provide them with a solid start. Later, it is worth continuing to water with this fertilizer.

One of the most important factors for the development of tomato seedlings is adequate lighting. Young plants need a lot of light to grow. If they do not have access to enough light, then you need to provide them with artificial lighting.

The temperature for tomatoes should oscillate around 18-22 stops Celsius. It is important that they are not exposed to cold drafts or sudden temperature changes that can weaken them.

We also need to water the cuttings regularly. Their soil should be constantly moist, but not soaked. Otherwise, the roots will rot.

Before planting seedlings in a permanent place in the garden, It is worth gradually getting used to external conditions. The hardening process involves exposing plants for a few hours a day to fresh air, starting with short periods and gradually extending time. Thanks to this, tomatoes tolerate later transfer to the ground.
