Babler’s favorite Markus Marterbauer will probably be over Austria’s finances

It was not a birthday present, but met well: last Wednesday, the economist Markus Marterbauer celebrated its sixties. The next day it became known: the long -time economic researcher, who is currently working at the Vienna Chamber of Labor (AK) as head of the economics department, becomes the new finance minister. Marterbauer is considered the favorite of SPÖ boss Andreas Babler, who could possibly enforce his desired personnel.
