The European Alliance of Press Agencies (Eana) condemned on Thursday killing a journalist of the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform Teťjana Kulyková, who lost her life in the Russian drone attack, informs TASR. Kulyková died on Wednesday in the early morning in the Kiev region during an attack in which her house was destroyed by the Russian drone.
The journalist worked as the editor -in -chief of the main multimedia editorial office of Ukrinform and was the host of the Nation of the Invincibles program.
“The loss of Teťjana Kulyková is a deep tragedy not only for her family and colleagues in Ukrinform, but also because of the fact that BOla in fact by a civilian in her own house who hit the drone. We express a deep condolences to her family, friends and colleagues in Ukrinform. This dramatic incident underlines the horrors of the war that Russia is led in Ukraine and which has claimed so many innocent lives“said Secretary General Eana Alexandra Giboi. As he added, he hopes he was not a” targeted attack “against Ukrinform journalist.
Eana, whose member is also TASR, is a traditional professional organization of news agencies from Europe. Its task is to formulate, coordinate and jointly address the calls of agency journalistic work in dynamically changing market, legislative and technological conditions and copyright issues. It consists of 33 member agencies.
