José Seripieri, owner of Amil and friend of Lula, was the only businessman invited to the session where everyone watched the movie “I’m still here”
The president (PT) and the first lady, Janja da Silva, published on their social networks a photo with all the guests for the film’s screening session “I’m still here” at the Palace of Alvorada, on Monday (24.FEV.2025).
Among the guests was José Seripieri, the only businessman present at the event. He is the founder of Qualicorp and today owner of Amil, and is a close friend of President Lula. He was responsible for Lula’s personal physician, Roberto Kalil Filho, that the president was not well, resulting in a hurry in December 2024.

Chico Paiva, has a degree in International Relations from PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo). It is currently of the Department of Decarbonization and Green Finance of MDIC (Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services). The councilman applied for Sao Paulo in 2020, for the PSB-was not elected. João Henrique Paiva Avelino, Juca Paiva, is by USP (University of São Paulo). Both are children of Vera Paiva, the eldest daughter of Rubens and Eunice.
The Senate President, (União Brasil-AP), and the mayor, (Republicans-PB), and their respective women also went to “Cine Alvorada”. Congressmen were Pore Janja.
“It is important to talk about how Brazilian cinema can rescue our memory, from a period that was so sad in history and that we can never forget what happened in Brazil. So, the movie ‘I’m still here’ revives our memory, brings these difficult feelings, but it is important to not forget ”said Janja on video on your Instagram profile.
Lula and Janja wanted to watch the movie For months, but the logistics of going to a common cinema was considered unfeasible. With support from the Ministry of Culture, Janja and his team contacted the production of the feature to make the private session viable.
