A driver identified as João Victor Spsatto, 24, was filmed “driving” a cart while sitting in the vehicle window. The Military Police of Mato Grosso recorded the occurrence that now goes to an investigation into the Civil Police.
The case occurred last Sunday (23), in Juína (MT), municipality located 737 kilometers from Cuiabá. According to the PM, the crime of dangerous driving on public roads occurred around 8 pm and was identified through a video circulating on social networks and the WhatsApp messaging application.
The suspect drove a blue trailer on JK Avenue, one of the main and busiest roads in the city. “The driver executed hazardous maneuvers on public roads, breaking essential safety rules and exposing third parties to obvious risks,” the occurrence says.
The driver also posted images on his social networks driving in the window.
Police analyze the video published on the networks and images of security cameras on the streets where the vehicle passed at the time.
The man may be responsible for the crimes of participation in unauthorized races, disputes or auto competitions or demonstration of unauthorized maneuver, which has a penalty of up to three years of detention, fine and suspension or prohibition of obtaining permission or driving qualification.
“It is noteworthy that the conduct of the driver represents recklessness and disrespect for traffic rules, creating potential situation of serious accident and endangering the physical integrity of third parties,” comments the occurrence.
A CNN failed to locate the driver’s defense. The space is still open.
