The mayor, (-PB), celebrated on Wednesday (26) the approval by the minister, (Supreme Federal Court), of the plan presented by to obtain the release of parliamentary amendments.
Motta said it is the result of dialogue between powers and “recognition of parliamentary prerogatives”.
“The decision of Minister Flávio Dino (STF), to approve the work plan of the amendments, is the result of the legislature’s efforts to dialogue with the other powers. It is also a recognition of the prerogatives of parliamentarians,” he said at X, former Twitter.
“These resources bring more development and equality to regions that are often invisible to the executive. Who wins is Brazil,” he added.
The minister approved the plan presented by to achieve the release of parliamentary amendments. The magistrate maintained caveats previously imposed, as in the so -called pix amendments that do not have a work plan, and the suspensions related to NGOs and third sector entities.
In Wednesday’s decision (26), the rapporteur stated that if the decision is endorsed by the plenary, there is no more impediment to the execution of parliamentary amendments to the 2025 budget, as well as those related to previous exercises.
Dino, however, gave new messages. He stated that new dialogues will still be needed to deal with all existing issues.
The minister praises the work done between the three powers, while claiming that the harmony between them does not depart from the judiciary to act when needed.
“I consign the relevance of the initiative, which realizes the principle of harmony between the powers, of which the judiciary is a participant and guardian. However, it is essential to remember that the aforementioned principle of harmony does not mean the annulment of the dimension of brakes and counterweights, which should always manifest when necessary,” he said.
In the decision, the minister also says that the joint work plan establishes rails for greater transparency and traceability in the execution of parliamentary amendments. But in practice there is still much to be done, citing the volume of resources for amendments.
