The management of Governor Ratinho Júnior (PSD) maintains, reaching 82.7%, according to a survey by the Paraná Research Institute, released on Thursday (27). This is the largest percentage since October 2022, consolidating the popularity of the state executive head.
The survey also tested scenarios for the Senate in 2026, when two chairs will be in dispute. Ratinho Júnior appears as a favorite, surpassing names such as former Governor Roberto Requião (PT), journalist Cristina Graeml (Somos) and Federal Deputy Filipe Barros (PL).
Despite the leadership, the governor showed no interest in the Senate race and should launch his pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic until April.
The research also evaluated the scenario for the Government of Paraná in 2026. Senator Sergio Moro (União-PR) appears as a favorite and would win the dispute in the first round. However, a candidate supported by Ratinho Júnior, who maintains strong approval in the state, could make the race more competitive.
The survey listened to 1,652 voters in 64 municipalities, between February 22 and 25. The margin of error is 2.5 percentage points, with 95% confidence level.
