Former federal deputy Cristiane Brasil, daughter of former PTB president Roberto Jefferson, has promoted, on social networks, a consulting firm for Brazilians to ask for asylum in the United States, for fear of persecution and being right.
“If you were not persecuted as I went, but you are afraid to be, by your opinions, for being part of some group, the asylum is for you. […] If you are right -wing just like me, identify with these guidelines, the asylum is also for you, I assure you yes, ”says in a video published this week.
In the caption of the publication, Cristiane writes that she is discouraged by Brazil’s situation and indicates legal immigration to the US for those who want to “be happy in a safe country.”

In another video, the former deputy says she is “horrified” with the amount of false information being passed to Brazilians in the US.
“They say there is no way, that Trump will deport everyone. Lie, this is a communist thing to get you peace and quiet, ”he says by nominating the company New Path for immigration services to Brazilians. She mentions that the process is long and can last up to 25 years, but not a “seven -headed bug.”
In 2018, the former deputy was appointed to the Ministry of Labor by then President Michel Temer, but did not take office. She was prohibited by the Federal Court of assuming the folder for having two convictions in the Labor Court.
Cristiane was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014 by the former Brazilian Labor Party (PTB), which became the Democratic Renewal Party (PRD) after merging with the Patriot.
The former deputy is the daughter of Roberto Jefferson, also former deputy, for incitement to the crime, attacking the exercise of powers, slander and homophobia in 2024.
The former PTB president was arrested in 2022, when he reacted and fired 50 rifle shots against federal police officers who were serving and seized warrants at his house in the interior of Rio de Janeiro.
