The borderland kitchen has many flavors and aromas. The combination of culinary traditions of different countries gives an amazing effect – it is to be simple, but delicious. You need to make this dish:

  • 400 g of potatoes,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 slices of bread,
  • 3 tablespoons of peas,
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 50 g of barley,
  • 50 ml of milk,
  • 2 tablespoons of potato flour,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram,
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley,
  • ½ teaspoon of sweet pepper,
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper.

Breading:

  • 100 g of coarse breadcrumbs,
  • 60 g of wheat flour,
  • 60 g of potato flour,
  • 50 ml of water,
  • ½ teaspoon salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper.

Additionally:

Cook the potatoes until tender and crush with a pestle.

Finely chop all vegetables and transfer to separate cups.

Cook the groats until the instructions on the packaging.

Crush the bread and pour milk. Set aside

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Add garlic, then onion and fry the whole until tender. Add carrots, peas and all spices. Fry everything on low heat until the intense aroma of the spices begins from the pan.

Add potatoes and mix everything with a spatula. Transfer the mass to the bowl and leave to cool completely.

Squeeze the bread from excess milk and crush it so that it has the consistency of smooth dough. Add it to the vegetable mixture with groats. Mix the whole.

Pour potato flour so that the dough stops sticking to your fingers. Mix everything to a lump without lumps.

Prepare the coating.

Mix all ingredients excluding breadcrumbs in a bowl to obtain a uniform consistency of the dough.

Heat oil for deep frying in a deep frying pan or in a pot.

Form longitudinal cutlets from the potato mass. Dream them first in the flour dough, and then bread in breadcrumbs. Put them into hot fat.

Kresowe schnitzel fry until golden from all sides. Put on paper towels.

Serve the dish with the addition of light salad.
