The President (PT) said on Thursday (27.FEV.2025) that it makes no distinction of governors or mayors, regardless of political alignment, proposing the construction of popular housing in partnership with the governor of São Paulo (Republicans).
“When the elections ends, we have to forget the parties we are, we have to forget the divergences of the elections and work together […] We have to look is the interest of the people of a city and a state, which is why we are working in the most civilized way possible with all governors. I have no veto to any governor, any mayor ”, said Lula, in an interview with TV Record.
“That’s why things will work here in São Paulo, because Tarcisio and I are showing that we can even have our political and ideological differences but we have convergence in one thing: respecting the behavior of the people who elected us“.
