American blueberry is one of the most capricious plants, and Poles have been planting it for several years. Hardly anyone is aware of how many requirements they have, which is why only a few collect abundant crops in the summer. One of the most important principles of growing blueberry is to ensure a sunny position to the bushes.
It should be in a secluded place in the garden, on slightly moist and permeable soil. Preferably humus and sandy. It must be acidic (3.5-4.8 pH)therefore it is recommended to use fertilizers, e.g. from acid compost, coffee coffee grounds.
