The Civil Protection and Forest Defense Service (SPCDF) of the Lagos Authority will officialize the conclusion of the first phase of the Municipal External Automatic Devirllation Plan (PMDAE) at a ceremony that will take place on March 10, at 10:00, in the Paços do County Auditorium. XXI. The city will thus be endowed with means to increase survival in emergencies.
The session will have the interventions of the mayor of Lagos and the Municipal Civil Protection Coordinator, as well as the presence of seven partner entities: school groups Júlio Dantas and Gil Eanes, Public Security Police (PSP), Republican National Guard (GNR), Municipal Police, Maritime Police and Santa Casa da Misericódia de Lagos.
In addition to the presentation and framing of PMDAE, will be exposed, in the Praça do Infante, vehicles of the security forces and relief involved in the project. During this initiative, the official delivery of external automatic defibrillation equipment (DAE) will be made to the participating entities.

PMDAE de Lagos is a municipal initiative that aims to improve the response to medical emergencies, namely in cases of cardiorespiratory arrest (PCR). The program foresees the installation of defibrillators in strategic locations and the formation of qualified operational operations for their effective use, contributing to increase survival rates and reduce the damage associated with PCR.
With this initiative, it reinforces its commitment to the safety and well-being of the population, endowing the city with essential means to a faster and more efficient response to emergency situations.
