Sebastião Silva do Nascimento, 49, was arrested in the act in the late afternoon of Thursday (27), after brutally assaulting his partner in a residence located in the Mucuripi branch, about 30 kilometers from BR-364, in rural Sena Madureira. The aggression resulted in serious injuries to the victim, including lesions in genitalia, as well as other parts of the body.
The fact was denounced by local residents, who informed police about the victim’s arrival in critical condition in a nearby residence. Immediately, garrisons went to the scene and found Sebastião, who confessed to being the perpetrator of the aggressions. He reported that after hitting his wife, she had left the road unknown.

During the approach to the aggressor, it was verified in the Apollo system that there was an open arrest warrant against Sebastião, issued by the 2nd Court of the Jury Court and Military Audit of Rio Branco, which led to its immediate detention.
After Sebastião’s arrest, the police teams went to locate the victim. She was found in a nearby house, where she was sheltered for fear of the aggressor. In an interview with the police, the woman reported that the physical aggressions were frequent and, in previous episodes, the accused had injured her with a knife in genitalia and several other parts of the body. In addition, she also mentioned a scam on her left arm. Due to the severity of the injuries, the woman was taken to the hospital, accompanied by her two children.

At the police station, the victim testified, detailing the aggressions suffered and confirming that Sebastião’s behavior was recurring.
Sebastião was arrested and sent to the municipal police station, where he remains at the disposal of the court.
