A 31-year-old man was arrested after trying to steal the gun of a military policeman at one of the busiest points in Sao Paulo, Paulista Avenue, on Thursday night (27). The action took place around 7:35 pm in front of one of the hits of the Metro Brigadeiro Station.
Safety cameras images show that military police were on routine patrolling in front of the subway station when the man, by cap, approaches. He approaches the police, who talk to him briefly.
Shortly thereafter, he pretends to be leaving and – very quickly – tries to remove the gun from one of the police. The agents run after the man and, about 200 meters later, can stop it.

The case was registered in the 78th Police District. The SSP has not yet spoken out about the case and not even what the purpose of the accused, who testified late Thursday night.
