A 45-year-old man was arrested in Portimão, in the district of Faro, on suspicion of sexual abuse crimes for a teenager during, several weeks late last year, Judiciary Police (PJ) said.
“The facts began and continued inside the aggressor’s housing, using a relationship of parenting and cohabitation with the adolescent, which, out of fear and shame, would only report the succeeded some time later,” PJ says in a statement.
According to, the acts were repeatedly practiced, took place for several weeks and always happened when both were alone, in one of the rooms of the housing, away from the eyes of the remaining family. ”
The suspect, whose detention occurred after a complaint, will be present the first judicial interrogation.
