The Russian president said today that contacts between senior Russian and US government officials are “hoping” to settle “problems”, including the war in.
“Initial contacts with the new US government give hope,” Putin said in a meeting with Federal Security Service officials (FSB).

Russians and American diplomats today meet in Turkey for talks to resolve conflicts about the work of their embassies in Washington and Moscow respectively.
