Visiting Portugal, French President Emmanuel Macron reacted shortly to the discussion between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky. “Russia is the aggressor and Ukraine is the assaulted nation,” said the French leader. “We were all fine as I supported Ukraine and sanctioned Russia three years ago, and we continued to do so. We have to respect who is fighting from the beginning, ”he concluded.

Also some Ukrainian military personnel reacted to the confrontation that took place in the oval room between the two presidents. A military officer, known by the name of Code Aleks, said on Telegram that he doesn’t care about the kind of peace that Trump offers. “It is better to fight to death than to freeze the war and then to be drained again in three years,” said Aleks.
