The village of Alte, one of the most typical of the Algarve, is preparing to celebrate its emblematic carnival on March 2 and 4, 2025, from 15:00. The event, known for its traditional and community environment, promises to be one of the most lively in the region, bringing together 15 floats, about 500 masked revelers and a lot of music for residents and visitors.
With a centenary history, the Carnival of Alte is distinguished by its authenticity and active involvement of the local community. The creativity will be protagonist again in the elaborate floats and in the groups of revelers, which fill the streets of color and joy to the sound of DJ Paulo Rossi. Many of the cars represent humorous satyrs, reflecting current themes and local traditions.
In addition to the daytime parades, the party continues in the House of the People’s House, from 22:00, with popular balls animated by Emanuel Martins & Tânia, Ricardo Madeira and Rúben Filipe.
The event is organized by, in partnership with local collectivities, and has the support of the Loulé City Council. This joint effort allows you to preserve traditions and promote the culture of the region, reinforcing Alte as a reference destination at Carnival Algarve.
The organization invites everyone to join this celebration, where tradition and animation are in the heart of the Algarve.
