Shrimps will work great when you want to prepare a unique and original dish. Not only are they very tasty, but also contain a large amount of protein, and little fat, thanks to which they perfectly fit into a healthy menu. To prepare this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
- 400 g of canned tomatoes,
- 200 g of shrimp,
- 80 g Sera Feta,
- 15 ml of olive oil,
- 1 large onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- a pinch of oregano,
- a pinch of sweet red pepper,
- salt and pepper to taste,
- several branches of thyme.
A ready dish will be best served with a fresh baguette or baked olive oil.
You can use fresh or peeled, frozen shrimps. If you decide on the second option, tighten them and peel them. With one decisive move, twist your head, tear your legs and slide the tail. Then gently remove the armor from all the shrimp. Cut the back and get rid of the digestive tract in the form of a black fishing line. Rinse the shrimps under water and thoroughly dry with a paper towel.
Cut the onion into cubes and fry in olive oil together with garlic squeezed through Prague. Then add the peeled and cleaned shrimp until they are nicely browned. Add tomatoes, spices to ready shrimps and mix everything gently. Transfer the contents of the pan to an ovenproof dish, and crush the whole portion of cheese to the top. Spread thyme branches. Put the dish in the oven preheated to 100 degrees Celsius and bake, until the cheese begins to melt.
Serve after removing from the oven, with a baguette or other favorite addition.
