Visiting to accompany the inauguration ceremony of the new president of the neighboring country, his ally, the president (PT) met with two important international leaders. The petista spoke to Germany president Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Ecuador presidential candidate Luisa González. During these meetings, Lula emphasized the relevance of cooperation between Latin America and the European Union, especially in the “defense of democracy and multilateralism.”
