The march against Mazón changes its usual tour of Valencia
The fifth demonstration to demand the resignation of the president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, for his management in the DANA has changed the route that until now followed and will start on Colón de Valencia street, corner with Russafa, until reaching Porta de la Mar. The reason is that, due to the fault events, the government’s subdelegation has urged to modify the route. In this way, the demonstration will begin at 18.00 and will leave Columbus Street in its corner with Russafa Street, instead of the Town Hall Square, from where it used to leave. The protest will continue for Columbus until ending in Porta de la Mar with Navarro Reverter.
The March 1 will be the fifth protest convened after the Dana on October 29 to demand the resignation of Carlos Mazón. The first, on November 9, came to gather 130,000 people in the center of the city, according to the data of the Government Delegation. Then more mobilizations were held on November 30; on December 29 and February 1. In the last protest, celebrated in part of the route in the rain, he congregated 25,000 people, three months after the Dana, and under the cry of “the victims do not forget.”
