The special rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the CidHH (International Court of), body of (Organization of American States), said on Friday (28) recognizing Brazil’s commitment to democracy and human rights.
The statement was published in a report of the rapporteur, which cited the completion of the official visit to the country between February 9 and 14, with Colombian rapporteur Pedro Vaca. He talked to members of all powers, including scholarship congressmen and the ministers of the (Supreme Court).

During the visit, Pedro Vaca even told the interlocutors that he was concerned about the lack of clarity in the difference between what is an attack on democracy or hate speech and what is a legitimate critical discourse in actions of the Brazilian Supreme Court.
He also reported being frightened by the level of, especially with representatives of the conservative field, who claim to be censored by the Supreme.
The main concerns raised by the Colombian are the lack of clear definition for what is misinformation, which can increase the responsibility of the platforms, the removal of accounts on social networks and.
