The new date for the event will be on March 29. The announcement is open for analysis for 45 days and according to the Secretary of Culture of Porto Alegre, Liliana Cardozo, the resources will not be released in time for the parades.
“For the legitimacy of the fiscal year process, which opened on January 10th. Because a notice has time to count. It has 45 days that is open, seven more days for those who want to turn to, ”said the secretary.
The decision was criticized by the population and state politicians. She also posted memes on her Instagram page criticizing the mayor’s decision (MDB).

Independent parades
