The inauguration of the Army General Guido Amin Naves in the STM (Superior Military Court), on February 24, attracted authorities of the three powers of the Republic, “especially from the State of São Paulo,” as the Court’s official news was recorded.
The new minister was one of the army summit generals who refused to join the attempted coup narrated by PGR Paulo Gonet against former President Jair Bolsonaro and 33 people.
Naves was appointed in December by President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT).

By saying goodbye to the Southeast Military Command, Naves said that the army “goes through an anguish through the ways that things will take,” he said in Sheet. “But we, as an institution that values legality, institutionality, understands that this is a process of maturation of society. Naves was head of the Army Strategic Project Office; Cyber Defense Commander; and head of the Army Science and Technology Department.

Naves merely congratulated the new STM president.
“I am absolutely convinced that the minister has all the experience and all the predicates to exercise the presidency of STM in the next two years, as elected. In advance I wish her all success in this work of conducting the work of the Court in this next biennium. I see nothing more than you can say about it,” he said.
Maria Elizabeth was a vote overdue when the STM acquitted, by eight votes to six, the military who, in 2019, met, with 257 shots, the car of musician Evaldo dos Santos Rosa, and garbage collector Luciano Macedo.
