President of Ukraine discusses departures for the war with Keir Stmerer, after a clash with Trump in the USA
After, on Friday (28.Fev.2025), the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will meet with British Prime Minister Keir Stmerer on Saturday afternoon (1st.mar) in London. Zelensky wants to discuss security measures for his territory, invaded by Russia in February 2022.
Strmer has already defended Trump’s involvement in peace negotiations. Zelensky’s disagreement with the US president, however, frustrated hopes that there was a partnership between the US and the European nations in Ukraine’s future dialogue.

Faced with the disagreement between Trump and Zelensky, several leaders from European countries showed support to the Ukrainian President. In thanks, the Ukrainian President said in a Telegram post that his country needs to be “heard and not forgotten.”
Trump said in an X (former Twitter) publication that Zelensky “is not ready for peace if America is involved.” The US President also said that the Ukrainian President could return to the White House
