Wild crime in a nursing home in, with a 90 -year -old rented, suffered by psychiatric problems
The old man allegedly killed two other elderly people, aged 93 and 97.
The alleged perpetrator had already killed his 87 -year -old wife with a hammer in 2021, but justice had not ruled that he was criminal responsibility for a serious mental illness, Dedergem’s mayor Kenraad Demogrote explained to AFP.
The man had then been transferred to Dendergm’s retirement home.

The new tragedy unfolded on Friday (28/2). In addition to the two dead, a 94 -year -old woman was injured and “was taken to hospital in critical condition,” the western Flanders prosecutor said.
The 90 -year -old, armed with a “small knife”, was arrested and is expected to be intervened by police, Degrote said.
“All I can say is that my client has been detained following the decision of the investigator and that the right place has been chosen for him,” said the elderly lawyer, avoiding giving more details on the incident.
The prosecutor’s office said in turn that “investigation into the circumstances are ongoing.”
