For the second year in a row, the Minas Gerais band Lagum confirmed the bloco Lagum Avenida at Carnival in Belo Horizonte. The musicians will parade with the electric trio this Sunday (2), from 7am (concentration), leaving Rua Sergipe, 939, near Praça da Liberdade. The block will go through Avenida Brasil, making the same route as the first edition.
In 2024, about 100,000 revelers accompanied the band in the block, and the drums had 50 artists – a number that will be kept in this second edition.
The band was formed in 2014 by four mining friends. Today, Lagum has almost 3 million listeners on Spotify and 517,000 followers on Instagram.
In 2025, 568 street blocks registered to participate in the. This number represents a growth of 31.16% compared to 2015, when 177 blocks went to the streets of the capital of Minas Gerais.
