About 70,000 revelers were present in Rio de Janeiro Carnival blocks, facing temperatures that reached 38ºC. Among the 52 blocks that paraded, the Cordá do Boitatá and the Charanga Talisman, which brought joy and animation to the city streets. The Boitatá cord, which performed in Praça XV, paid tribute to big names in Brazilian music, such as Gonzaguinha. The event was attended by several artists, who animated the public with their known performances and songs.
