The Presidency of the Republic authorized the president of EBC, Jean Lima, to replace the current director general, Maíra Bittencourt, by the director of operations, engineering and technology of the state, Bráulio Ribeiro, name most aligned with Lima.
The change had been requested by the president of EBC after the (Secretariat of Social Communication) at the beginning of the year.
According to servers, the change has already been communicated by Bittencourt to his team at EBC and should be formalized in the Official Gazette. She is a teacher of the Federal Sergipe and linked to the secretary general, Márcio Macedo. Ribeiro was chief of staff of the general board of the EBC, taught at communication colleges of the Federal District and was director of operations at TVE of Bahia.
The exchange occurs amid news that Sidonius was considering changing the EBC command.
