Hundreds of demonstrators gathered over the weekend in the ski resort in Vermont, USA, where the US Vice President JD Vance and his family set out for a weekend holiday. TASR informs about this on the basis of AP report.
Demonstrators met in several places in the Sugarbush ski resort near Warren, as well as on the road leading to the city. Several held banners with inscriptions expressing support to Ukraine. Others waved Palestinian flags or carried banners with slogans to support immigrants’ rights.
Although the demonstrations were planned a few days in advance, it was encouraged at Fridays of protesters Exchange of views in an oval office between Vance, President of the US Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenský.
