In eight years of operation, the initiative has collected 36 million liters of cooking oil used to refer to the correct destination.

The oil is used as an input by JBS’s biopower, one of the largest Brazilian biodiesel producers.

In addition to the correct discard, the Oil Friend Program also works in environmental education.

Since 2016, the program has directly reached more than 45,000 students from more than 600 schools, companies and institutions.
