The last float of Youth Alegre faced engine problems and crashed during this Sunday’s parade (2), at Anhembi’s sambadrome, on the second night of the São Paulo Carnival Special Group.
To solve the failure, dozens of members had to push the structure, generating a space between wings that can impact the school’s harmony grade.
Then the association had to remove part of the Bahians who were at the head of the allegory. Even with the setback, the youth was able to complete the parade within the 62 -minute limit and celebrated the arrival at the end of the catwalk. The Harmony Note should be harmed by the problems in the parade.
Another detail observed was the sign with the name of the school, which did not appear on the front of the allegory of the front committee. The item, however, was positioned on the sides – something allowed by the regulation – in order to ensure that the audience present in the sambadrome could view the school identification, not just those watching on TV.
The school too brought a float equipped with 10,000 liters of waterwhich refreshed the components and splashed in the people around. The performance symbolized an axé bath. In addition, 4,000 branches of Arruda were used on the avenue to bless the parade.
A Front committee was the fastest to cross the dispersion gate, taking only 32 minutes – While the average of other schools was more than 40 minutes.
A Youth Alegre entered the avenue with the objective of gaining an unprecedented feat at the São Paulo carnival: the third three -time championship of its history. The plot addressed the resistance of enslaved in Brazil and how they preserved their faith through syncretism between African matrix religions and Christianity.
