“New York Dolls” singer David Johansen died

New York-David Johansen, singer of the influential Glam punk band New York Dolls, is dead. He died on Friday at home in New York at the age of 75, as his daughter Leah Hennessey confirmed. It was not until February that Hennessey had asked the fans of the US musician on Instagram for help, since her father had had cancer for years and had also been diagnosed with a brain tumor five years ago. She started the donation campaign on the “Sweet Relief” page.
