The Public Security Police (PSP) has made 548 arrests in the last six days, mostly for road infractions, under the “Operation Police Always present – Carnival in Security 2025”, still.
PSP made 193 arrests for road crimes, namely 86 for driving a vehicle in a state of drunkenness and 107 for lack of legal qualification to drive, according to data released today.
Also seized were seized 41 firearms and 26 white weapons, “either as a precautionary measure or the 13 arrests made for possession of prohibited weapons”, and 16,816 pyrotechnics articles with about 33.8 kilograms of “explosive liquid content”.

Regarding the road accident, in the last six days, in the area of responsibility of PSP, 942 accidents were registered, resulting in 282 injured – 13 serious injuries and 269 light – and three dead.
PSP also detained 33 people for theft and theft and 62 suspects for drug trafficking, and more than 20,680 individual doses were seized.
The operation of the PSP in the carnival period is levied on three vectors – prevention, awareness and inspection – and appeals “to drivers to drive safely, adapting their driving to the meteorological conditions and the state of the floor”.
