Perfectly clean and shiny cutlery are part of the dining culture. Can you imagine a festive board with cutlery with stains from the scale? You don’t even have to use the following advice.
To get to really clean cutlery, we can buy a lot of expensive products in colorful bottles, or use our own reason and advice that our grandmothers already knew. For example, the one that enjoys soda, vinegar and quite common detergent. It is such a solution that can do with our, often very faded cutlery, unexpected spells. Let’s try it.

You don’t have to buy anything
You have all the necessary ingredients at home, so we can start the work. First, simply mix in the corresponding container (it may be a bowl bowl) warm water, a tablespoon of baking soda and a little liquid dishwashing product. Let the vinegar leave aside for the time being, it will be useful in a moment. Once the soda dissolves, we can start cleaning the cutlery.
Remove them with coarse dirt
It goes without saying that we will immerse the cutlery already cleaned of coarse dirt in the prepared bath. Perhaps we would not meet with great success if we tried to wash them in solution along with relaxed food remnants. After ten minutes to a quarter of an hour, remove the cutlery from the water and wipe it with a cloth or a sponge. There will be another bath.
The vinegar work will complete
In the subsequent step we will use the vinegar, which has so far idle. Again, as from Soda, we will prepare aqueous solution from it – this time in a 1: 1 ratio. A few minutes after which the cutlery will be soaked in acetic water, they will be enough for weak acid to perfectly remove even signs of lining stains, or possible soda residues from the first bath.
Rinse and done …
This is all, the culmination of our efforts will only take care of the rinsing under running lukewarm water and downing with a soft cloth. The cutlery will look like a new and a feast, similar to the castles, can easily begin. In addition, we will be warmed by the knowledge that we have not used any strong and potentially dangerous chemistry to clean the cutlery this time. Nature also thanks us, and this is undoubtedly calculated.
Our grandmothers knew how to clean up
It is good to look back sometimes and look into the past. The experiences of our ancestors are not unnecessary at all and we often find that they have easily cope with the problems we are dealing with today with the help of special products and often high financial amounts. Who wouldn’t want to save, protect nature and make your work easier?
