At the White House, French President Emmanuel Macron today had telephone conversations with a series of leaders, and US President Donald Trump, the French presidency said.
Details of the content of the talks were not announced, however, it is clear that European leaders want to keep the prospect of peace talks alive while also boosting the discussion of security guarantees.
Macron also contacted British Prime Minister Kir Starmer, European Council President Antonio Costa and NATO Secretary -General Mark Rutte.
The discussions were part of the preparations of the Kiev European allied meeting that will take place tomorrow in London tomorrow, as well as the EU Extraordinary Summit on March 6, according to Elise.
Support in Kyiv
With the exception of Victor Orban, who threatens to block the EU Summit for the Ukrainian, European leaders have en masseing its support in Ukraine and Volodimir Zelenski. This support was clearly illustrated by what happened earlier in Downing Street with the warm welcome of the British Prime Minister to the Ukrainian president.
The warm reception in London
Following his episode to Washington, the Ukrainian president arrived in London today and headed to Downig Street where he has discussions with British Prime Minister Kir Starmer, in view of the summit of the European Allies of Ukraine, who will meet the Ukrainian allies.
The Ukrainian president has been rainy by British journalists for the incident with Donald Trump at the White House and Ukraine’s relations with the US, but he avoided responding.

Kir Starmer welcomed the Ukrainian president with a warm embrace. According to British media, Starmer told Zelenski that “you have the full support of Britain and we will stand on the side of Ukraine for as long as it is needed.”
‘We count on your support
“We count on your support,” the Ukrainian president replied, expressing his gratitude in Britain.
The British prime minister in the short dialogue in front of television cameras added: “I hope you have heard some of the cheers from those outside.
These are British people who came to show how much they support you, how much they support Ukraine and our absolute determination to be on your side- unconditional decision- and to achieve what we both want, a constant peace. A constant peace for Ukraine based on the territorial integrity and security of the country that is very important for Ukraine, Europe and Britain. “
Zelenski, apparently excited, thanked Kir Starmer and the United Kingdom people for their support since the beginning of the war.
The Ukrainian President appeared touched as Starmer pointed out cheers from the crowds gathered outside as the president’s motorcade approached Downing Street.
