British Prime Minister Keir Strmer greeted President Volodymyr Zelenskiy with a warm hug On Saturday, after the Ukrainian leader flew to London for conversations after his White House confrontation with US President, Donald Trump.

At an extraordinary meeting at the Oval Hall on Friday, Trump threatened to remove support for Ukraine three years after Russia broke into its smaller neighbor.
In London, a crowd applauded When Zelenskiy arrived to talk to Strmer at his office in Downing Street, before a summit of European leaders in which Ukrainian President will participate on Sunday to discuss a peace plan for Ukraine.

“I hope you heard some of the applause on the street. This is the people of the United Kingdom to demonstrate how much it supports it … and our absolute determination to support him, ”Stmerer told him.

Strmer told Zelenskiy that he had “Full support from the whole UK”.
“We are with you and Ukraine for as long as necessary,” said Stmerer.
Other European leaders have issued a support messages to Zelenskiy and Ukraine after their meeting with Trump, highlighting the differences between traditional United States and European allies since Trump has returned to office.

Starmer talked to Trump and Zelenskiy on Friday, and the French president Emmanuel Macron Visited Trump in Washington this week.

Zelenskiy should meet the Rei Charles On Sunday. British newspaper Sun said the meeting would be held on the monarch property in Sanderingham, eastern England.

“I am very happy that your Majesty The king accepted my meeting tomorrow,” Zelenskiy told Stmermer at the beginning of the meeting.
Britain has supported Ukraine and Charles had already expressed its support for Zelenskiy, talking about the “determination and strength” of the Ukrainian people in the face of an unlucky attack from Russia.
During the White House Stmerer visit, he introduced Trump a written invitation of the king for a state visit, making the US president the first political leader elected in modern times to be received in two state visits by a British monarch.
