British Prime Minister Keir Strmer, organizer of the summit, classified the meeting as “a unique moment in a generation for European security.” By captaining efforts to create a plan for ceasefire of the war between Ukraine and Russia, he argued that European nations should reinforce their borders and support Ukraine with all their weight.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that “Russian perspectives cannot be accepted” in the search for the end of the war in Ukraine. “Russia has always aimed to establish a government in Ukraine that follows its orders. This cannot be accepted, ”he said.
