Germany: car fell to a crowd in Mannheim – one dead, several seriously injured

Memories woke up in Manhaim on Monday afternoon when he fell on a large crowd in the central square of the city, killing a man and injuring many, as police confirmed.

At least three people, including one child, have been taken with serious injuries to the city’s university clinic, DW reports.

According to sources from the German News Agency, the perpetrator, who has been arrested in the meantime, is German and injured. Police have not announced if they consider it to be a terrorist attack, accident or something else. It is certain that the car moved for a few hundred meters on a pedestrian street and dragged several people.

Residents were informed to avoid unnecessary travel, especially in the city center. At the site of the attack, ambulances and experts for psychological support for those who were there at the moment in question arrived.
