OMV and ADNOC agree on the merger of their petrochemical daughters

Vienna/Abu Dhabi- The oil and gas group OMV and its major shareholder ADNOC from Abu Dhabi have agreed on the merger of their two petrochemia daughters Borealis and Borouge. A joint venture is to be founded under the name Borouge Group International, in which OMV and ADNOC should be involved in equal parts. At the same time, an agreement on the purchase of the Nova Chemical was reached for 9.4 billion euros, the OMV announced on Monday. (APA, 3.3.2025)
