Several people were injured on Tuesday in the Parliament of Serbia in an altercation between deputies of the ruling party SNS and members of the opposition, with the launch of smoke pumps, eggs and bottles of water, local media reported.
The president of Parliament, Ana Brnabic, accused of what happened to the opposition, to which she described as “terrorist band” and said that three SNS deputies were seriously injured.
“The life of Deputy Jasmina Obradovic is in danger when suffering a stroke when a stunned grenade hit her head,” said the president of the Chamber, a close allied of the nationalist populist president Aleksandar Vucic. Brnabic, an old prime minister, added that despite the chaos lived in the camera does not plan to interrupt today’s session.
Altercation between several deputies
At the beginning of the parliamentary session there was an altercation among several deputies, which were separated by security agents, while red, white and white smoke pumps were thrown, in addition to firecrackers.
The Parliament of Serbia met today to confirm, among other matters, the resignation of the current government, led by the Prime Minister and Head of the SNS, Milos Vucevic, who had announced its resignation at the end of January.
While inside the Parliament there were altercations, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the camera and threw eggs and other objects against the building.

The opposition demands a transition government
The Serbian opposition requires that a transition government be formed, which should prepare new “just and democratic” elections, after the repeated accusations of electoral fraud against the VUCIC SNS in recent years. Vucevic resigned after months of protests by tens of thousands of people, led by students, who demand a rule of law in conditions in Serbia.
The protests were triggered by the collapse of the ceiling at the Novi Sad trains station, north of Belgrade, on November 1 when 15 people died. The opposition and the protesters ensure that the fatal accident was the product of the endemic corruption in the Balkan country.
VUCIC has announced that he will appoint a new government within 30 days after Parliament confirms the resignation of Vucevic, a man considered by the opposition a puppet of the president.
