The investor and CEO of Warren Buffett said US President Donald Trump (Republican )’s tariff policy is “an act of war.” The statement was made in an interview with CBS Newstransmitted not Sunday (2.Mar.2025).
“They are to some extent an act of war,” he said when asked about the possible effects of tariffs on the economy.
In addition, Buffett warned of the impact on inflation. “Over time, they represent a property tax. I mean, the tooth fairy doesn’t pay for them, ”he said.
