Volodimir Zelenski has assured that he wants to “fix things” with Donald Trump after the enclosure suffered in the White House last Friday. After the unprecedented public discussion between the two, with the addition of the American vice president, JD Vance, the Ukrainian president called to resume “cooperation and communication” between both parties in a constructive way.
“I want to reiterate Ukraine’s commitment to peace,” he said in his X Zelenski account in response to the constant accusations of Trump not being interested in putting an end to war. “My team and I are willing to work under the strong leadership of President Trump for a lasting peace,” he adds in his message on the social network.
