The elderly Francisco de Assis Delgalles, 79, was run over on the morning of Wednesday (5) on Rio de Janeiro Street, in front of a supermarket in the Ivete Vargas neighborhood of Rio Branco.

According to witnesses, Francisco left home to receive his salary in a bank when, when trying to cross the street, he was hit by a motorcycle. With the impact, the elderly was thrown to the ground, suffered cuts in the head and left leg, as well as abrasions on the left elbow. The motorcyclist remained at the scene and assisted the victim.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered, and a basic support ambulance was sent. The paramedics provided the first calls and sent the elderly to the Rio Branco Emergency Room in a stable health.
Military police from the Traffic Battalion were at the scene and isolated the area for the expertise work.
