During the event, the grades awarded by the 36 jurors will be revealed, and the school that obtains the highest score will be the winner. The six highlights that stand out will return to Marquês de Sapucaí on the 8th to Saturday of the champions, while the school with the slightest grade will face the relegation for the Gold series in 2026.
This year, the special group parades were held on three consecutive nights, unlike the traditional two -day format that has been in force since 1984. The minimum presentation time for each school was expanded from 60 to 70 minutes, with a maximum limit of 80 minutes. The jurors were closed at the end of each of the parade nights.
