After the departure of Alexandre Padilha, who assumes the Ministry of Health, the change of chairs may not have ended for the Lula administration. Now, the president evaluates the name of Deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) to take over the general secretary of the presidency, according to the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo.
According to the newspaper’s investigation, Lula has already mentioned the name of Boulos to the post – which today has Márcio Macêdo, from the PT, as a starter – in conversations with allies.
Boulos is the leadership of the MTST and therefore would occupy the folder that makes the dialogue with social movements.

Another name remembered for the General Secretariat of the Presidency is that of lawyer Marco Aurélio Carvalho, coordinator of the prerogative group. He was one of Lula’s advocates during the accusations of Operation Lava Jato.

This is not the first time Boulos has been quoted to take office in the government. However, Boulos was Lula’s chosen to compete in the São Paulo City Hall – which ended the reelection of Ricardo Nunes (MDB).
