Serbia: tension in the House, lit tobacco (video)

Tension prevailed in today’s parliament (4/3) when opposition MPs lit smoke, in protest of government policies and in support of protesting students.

At today’s meeting, 62 bills had to be considered, including the students’ request to increase budget in higher education. When the meeting began, the opposition MPs lifted placards with bloody hands while shouting “killers, killers”.

It is noted that students in Serbia there on November 1, 2024, collapsed the concrete cornice at the train station, causing the deaths of 15 people. In fact, after the tragedy,
