“Just for tonight, why don’t they join us to celebrate so many amazing US wins? For the sake of our nation, we will work together and really make America big again ”he declared.

Trump made the statements after Democrats booed and interrupted him. Mayor Mike Johnson (Republican) had to intervene. He asked for order and threatened to trigger security to remove who caused the most disturbances during the speech.

The deputy for Texas al Green (Democrat) was expelled from the scene after shouting that Trump had no mandate and for standing.

The president dedicated part of his speech to criticize the actions of the Democrats, who, besides booing, raised signs with messages like “Save the Medicaid”, “This is a lie” e “Musk steals”. The Republican stated that nothing to say would make congressmen be happy, applaud, smile or get up.

“I could find the cure for the devastating disease, a disease capable of exterminating entire nations, announcing solutions to the greatest economy in history, or reducing crime to the lowest levels already recorded and these people here would still not applaud, not rise and not celebrate these astronomical achievements.”disse Trump.

Throughout his statements, the president also provoked the Democrats by promising to cut taxes. He said he was sure that opposition congressmen will vote in favor of the reduction.

This is the first time Trump has been heading for US congressmen since taking over his second term in front of the White House in January 2025. Although similar, the event is not the traditional discourse of the State of Union.
